A new service has been launched following extensive consultation with residents
In August 2008 a group of WPH residents began to look at the Anti Social Behaviour service with staff. The tenants have met with officers on number of occasions and were instrumental in bringing about the improvements to service delivery.
WPH is committed to tackling ASB. Our estate management service, along with WPH Support Link has developed an ‘out of hours’ response service in partnership with Wirral Council’s Community Patrol.
Residents can now report any incidents of anti social behaviour that occur outside of office hours by telephoning Support Link on 0808 100 9596.
WPH believes everyone has the right to live safely in their own home and the new service promises to have a Community Patrol Officer at your door within 45 minutes of you reporting a serious incident of anti social behaviour.
The new service aims to:
- Answer your call within an average of 20 seconds
- Attend serious out of hour’s incidents within 45 minutes
- Ensure a member of our Tenancy Enforcement Team contacts you the next working day if follow up action is required.
- Assist residents by helping complete incident diary sheets over the phone.
- Deal with all calls in confidence.
- Ensure all calls are recorded and handled within Data Protection Act Principles.
