WPH Community Grants

Alison Avenue Residents (£260)
An engagement activity was sponsored for £260 for residents of Alison Avenue allowing neighbours both old and new to get to know each other a little better.

Sandbrook Community Centre Lunch Club (£472.50)
The Sandbrook Community Centre was awarded £472.50 in August 2009 in order to promote the lunch club and encourage new members.

Supported Housing Residents in Birkenhead and Oxton (£283.90)
A Christmas outing event for residents with no families was organised in December 2009, this event was successful in bringing together people who may not have too many other people to see at this festive time.

TRAC (£81)
Complementing another event, WPH sponsored surprise selection packs for members of the TRAC lunch club during a Christmas event towards the end of 2009.

Bidston Rise Tenants Association (£717.80)
A surprise trip to Gulliver’s World for families from Bidston Rise was successfully sponsored in November 2009, the trip took place on 19th December 2009.  Those who came had no idea where they were going until they got there.
