How to pay your rent

You can choose to pay your rent weekly or monthly.  The table below shows how you can pay.

			Direct Debit
			Online
			Over the phone (with a credit/debit card)
			Use a swipe card to pay with cash or cards
			Post a cheque

What if I can’t pay my rent?

If you are worried about not being able to pay your rent, it is important to talk to us about it as soon as possible.  Contact the Income Team if you have any problems.  We can give you help and advice if you experience difficulties.

Managing your money

Check the Financial Services Authority (FSA) website www.moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk for some useful tips on managing your money and working out what's right for you.

You can use the FSA's site to get impartial advice on savings, benefits, loans and much more.
