What Next: Refurbishment work is likely to include new kitchens, bathrooms, heating and windows in line with Decent Homes Standard (subject to surveys).
Drop in sessions are being held to explain timescales and enable residents to get involved with the re-development of the scheme.
Ground floor communal area: Consultation event

WPH is committed to modernising ground floor internal and external areas and to ensuring that these areas meet residents’ requirements and provide an attractive, welcoming environment.
WPH appointed Paddock Johnson Architect to draw up some designs for Brackendale’s communal area. We displayed draft designs in the Residents’ Lounge recently, and residents dropped in to meet the architects and give their views.
Works to the ground floor communal areas will be carried out at a later stage of the improvement works.
