Show your support for WPH as we enter the team at Bidston Rise and Rivers Estates for a national award!

Our entry to the National Housing Federation 'What We Are Proud of Awards 2010' celebrates the achievements of the WPH Intensive Management Team, who have worked with residents to make real and lasting improvements across two Birkenhead estates.

Take a look at the video below to find out about some of the partnership work we have carried out with Groundwork Merseyside on the estate:

Impact of Intensive Management

Two years into their three year project, the WPH Intensive Management Team knows these estates inside out.  The team's first move was to map out every tenancy in the area - taking care to note family ties, neighbour nuisance reports and profile information.  A local lettings policy was introduced and when it comes to housing new applicants, community sustainability is crucial.

This WPH team has worked with residents in an area that was previously troubled by high levels of Anti Social Behaviour low occupancy rates and low levels of engagement.  Take a look below to find out about the impact the team has had on the area.
