We are currently updating our anti-social behaviour policies and leaflets.  These will be available soon. - WPH, January 2012

What is Anti-Social Behaviour?

"…conduct capable of causing nuisance or annoyance to any person and directly relates to or affects the housing management functions of a landlord [or]…conduct which consists of or involves using or threatening to use housing accommodation owned or managed by a relevant landlord for an unlawful purpose." (Housing Act 1996)

Anti-social behaviour can leave you feeling alarmed, harassed or distressed. It includes:

  • Vandalism graffiti and other deliberate damage to property
  • Teenagers hanging around on the streets
  • Rubbish or litter
  • Drug use and dealing
  • Drunk or rowdy behaviour
  • Noisy neighbours
  • Abandoned, dangerous or burnt out cars, trailers or caravans

If you are suffering help is available.

We realise that as a social landlord we have a vital part to play in tackling ASB in order to create sustainable communities.

Our Tenancy Agreement clearly states tenants’ responsibilities for their own behaviour and that of their family members, lodgers and visitors. Via our dedicated Tenancy Enforcement Team, we intend to do everything we can to enforce the agreement, making sure you can enjoy your home and live in peace and quiet.

What can you expect from the WPH ASB service?

" You can now report ASB outside office hours on 0808 100 9596
" If you report ASB out of hours then our team will contact you the next working day
" We will take your concerns seriously
" We can arrange to meet with you in your home, or at another safe location if you prefer
