Support Link Personal Security Alarm
The WPH Support Link service provides equipment like alarm units allowing you, or your relatives, to live independently without feeling at risk. WPH Support Link provides a dedicated 24 hour monitoring service, where trained operatives take fast and appropriate action in the event of emergency.
A Support Link home unit can be used to raise an alarm call by simply pressing the large red button on the unit, or by using a pendant trigger button.

How does it work?
When the alarm button is pressed, the caller is put through to our 24 hour monitoring centre. WPH Support Link operators can instantly access details such as name, address and medical details. The home unit has a loudspeaker and microphone, so that the caller and the operator can speak to each other. Once the operator has quickly established the problem, they will select an appropriate action - contacting either a friend/relative of the caller, a doctor or the emergency services if necessary.

It works in exactly the same way as other personal alarms and when the button on the front is pressed, a signal is sent to the Lifeline connect home unit, which in turn raises a call to SupportLink.
