WPH has gone through rapid change during the last few years and has been striving to become a learning organisation and become an employer of choice. The IiP Framework was used to develop the organisations’ structured development programme to meet the needs of the business in achieving its goals through its people. This included:-

In May 2009 WPH was recognised as an Investor In People. The assessor commended WPH in their report for embarking upon and introducing several areas of good practice, including:

• An effective Corporate Induction to introduce new employee’s effectively into the organisation. 
 
• An effective communications policy to ensure all employee’s know how and what individually and as a team, how they can contribute to the organisation.

• Fortnightly communications on focused “Customer First” topics.

• Developed a 3 year Training & Development Brochure.

• Competency Performance Appraisals and one-to-ones.

• Yearly Staff Conferences.

• Further Education Support including our own Cyber Centre available to staff and tenants.

Using the IiP framework has enabled WPH to develop its people and the performance of its people to achieve high standards within the business and focus on its Customer First strategy.
