WPH funds school shed

WPH was delighted to present St Michael and All Angels Catholic Primary School, Woodchurch, Wirral, with new equipment purchased with a WPH Community Grant. The school has been fundraising to improve their outdoor facilities and WPH were happy to buy the school a shed to get them started. Mrs Sally Collins, Head Teacher for the school, said, “We are delighted with the new shed. It enables the school to store outside play equipment safely. Full story »

WPH sows the seeds of community spirit

Residents in Wirral are growing a variety of vegetables and plenty of community spirit thanks to their new raised beds funded by a WPH Community Grant. As part of the work to engage tenants, the Site Management Officer for the area asked them if they wanted to make better use of the rear communal garden. Tackling Crime on Two Wheels

WPH has funded two specialist bicycles for Merseyside Police to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour on estates. The bikes will be used in communities to prevent crime and promote projects, including diversionary activities. Inspector Lucan-Pratt, Merseyside Police, said, “These bikes will prove invaluable in our fight against crime and will also be used to assist our engagement with the community.
