Holiday Fun

Seacombe is a hotspot area for Anti-social behaviour, and summer holidays can be a stressful time for residents.

To help ease holiday boredom and bring together local residents, WPH, Regenda and Riverside housing associations contributed to a community event held on Thursday afternoon in Bellvue Road, Seacombe.

Pedal Go Karts

Partnership Working

Luckily the rain held off and the local kids (a mixture of Riverside, Regenda and WPH residents) were able to enjoy the activities.

A barbeque, pedal powered go karts and disco all provided plenty of distractions for the children. Community police and youth service workers were able to make the most of the opportunity to speak to local people.

Partnership Working

Involving young people

Our resident involvement team is working on getting more young people involved in WPH activities, and supporting this family fun day was a great opportunity for WPH to do something for families and younger tenants!
